The Latin American Community for Natural Capital Accounting (ComLac) is a regional community of practice space, inspired by the System of Environmental-Economic Accounting (SEEA), which promotes the exchange of experiences, methodologies, and learnings to strengthen the evaluation and valuation of natural capital in the region.
NATIONAL NATURAL PARKS OF COLOMBIA
Special Administrative Unit called National Natural Parks of Colombia, at the national level, without legal personality, with administrative and financial autonomy, with jurisdiction throughout the national territory, under the terms of Article 67 of Law 489 of 1998. The entity is responsible for the administration and management of the National Natural Parks System and the coordination of the National System of Protected Areas.
OFRENDA A’BUNNA
It is an Arhuaco indigenous community organization, non-profit, dedicated to the recovery, regeneration, and protection of the Arhuaco ancestral territory in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, Colombia. It was created in 2016 in partnership with members of the Arhuaco community of Seykún, with the objective of reclaiming ancestral land that had been historically fragmented, by purchasing and protecting parcels outside the traditional jurisdiction of the indigenous reservation.
Cordillera Beata Natural Reserve

The Cordillera Beata Natural Reserve is a protected area with unique deep-sea ecosystems in the country, which provides great research opportunities and at the same time constitutes a challenge for the management and administration of these ecosystems. This protected area receives scientific expeditions at least once a year, which are responsible for conducting different types of monitoring and research with the objective of carrying out effective environmental control of the area.
